It is time for you to act, LORD; your law is being broken. Because I love your commands more than gold, more than pure gold, and because I consider all your precepts right, I hate every wrong path. - Psalm 119:126-128
Here are our upcoming gatherings...
Thursday, 5/2 @ 10am - 11am: National Day of Prayer
Join us for an hour of prayer for our nation as we "LIFT UP THE WORD - LIGHT UP THE WORLD." For you are my lamp, O Lord, and my God lightens my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall. This God—his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; He is a shield for all those who take refuge in Him. - 2 Samuel 22:29-31
Sunday, 5/5 @ 9am - 9:45am: Koinonia (Fellowship)
Following the pattern of Acts 2:42, we'll gather in groups of three to share one thing for which we are thankful, one concern to pray for, and one sin to confess.
Sunday, 5/5 @ 10am - 11:15am: Worship Service
This service will be live-streamed: www.youtube.com (ACC channel).
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. - Acts 2:42
We'll begin another week by gathering as God's people to worship Him. For the sermon, we'll explore Deuteronomy 5, which is a review of the Ten Commandments spoken by the LORD. This Old Covenant revealed the law of God. Centuries later at the Last Supper, Jesus spoke of the New Covenant to his disciples, revealing God's grace. After this, we'll take time to reflect on the grace of God as we share communion together; we'll remember and proclaim the Lord's death until He comes.
So be careful to do what the Lord your God has commanded you; do not turn aside to the right or to the left. Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess. - Deuteronomy 5:32-33
Tuesday, 5/7 @ 11am - 12pm: Prayer Meeting
We'll pray using the ACTS method (Adoration of God, Confessing our sins, Thanksgiving to God, Supplications to God). Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit. - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-19
